We strongly suggest adding
preventative grub control to your program given the level of this pest’s
activity in our local area. When you commit to grub control as part of your
regular program, it allows us to apply Merit, a more effective and
environmentally friendly material that will remain effective through the fall as
grubs grow and feed.
Should you wait until fall and
determine that grubs are indeed at an actionable threshold in your lawn, at that
point we must treat the lawn curatively with an aggressive insecticide,
achieving lesser control, and turf renovation will be
necessary.
